Candice first graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her first job as a Registered Nurse was at Tufts Medical Center, where she worked until 2010 when she took a job in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has worked as a Registered Nurse there for the past 8 years while earning her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts.

Candice has been training with Dr. Terzian since September 2016. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in May 2017 with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). The DNP degree builds on the traditional master’s programs offered for nurse practitioners by providing additional education in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and systems leadership. The DNP is the highest degree of education a nurse practitioner can achieve.

Candice is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Family Medicine. This makes her qualified to care for patients throughout their lifespan.

Candice believes in patient education and Preventative Medicine within Primary Care.

Her clinical interests include women’s health, mental health, cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and screening and detection of oncologic diseases.
